Liezel Lane is a dynamic career strategist, executive coach, and organizational development leader with more than twenty years of cross-sector experience guiding executives, young professionals, and teens toward purposeful success. She is an integral member of the Early Transitions Coaching Team focusing on youth of 16 years through the late 20’s helping and encouraging them to find meaningful career paths.
Liezel integrates industrial psychology, positive psychology, and creative arts to help clients align their careers with their deepest motivations and build lasting resilience.
Liezel’s passion for helping others began early—first as a teen supporting her grandfather’s stroke recovery and later as a psychometric technician and industrial-psychology graduate. Her career includes senior leadership roles such as Director of Learning & Development at TD Ameritrade and Executive Organizational Development Lead at ACI Worldwide, where she designed enterprise leadership programs and drove global culture transformation. She also contributed to South Africa’s post-apartheid workforce integration, shaping inclusive HR strategies during a pivotal era.
A serial entrepreneur and community builder, Liezel founded Atlanta S.E.E.Ds® (Self-Esteem Empowered by Dance), an award-winning nonprofit that mentored more than 500 girls and achieved a 100 percent college-acceptance rate. Her innovative programs earned her the Woman of Excellence Award for Community Service in 2017.
Today, Liezel has delivered over 4,000 hours of evidence-based coaching, blending in high quality assessments including DISC, 12 Driving Forces, Task Quotient and others including MBTI®, Predictive Index®, 16PF®, Emergenetics®, and Lominger® with expertise with motivational interviewing and trauma-informed practices. Her “conducting persuader” leadership style balances optimism, compassion, and accountability, modeling the resilience she inspires in clients.
An ICF Associate Certified Coach (ACC) and Certified Wellness Coach (CWC), Liezel is also a Certified Youth Resilience and Mentoring Coach (CYMC), and Certified Youth Resilience Coach (CYRC) she is a frequent speaker and published researcher whose thought leadership has appeared on podcasts and industry platforms worldwide. Whether guiding executives through career transitions, helping graduates secure their first roles, or mentoring teens, Liezel brings a unique combination of strategic insight, creative energy, and unwavering belief in the human capacity to thrive.
